Our client is a leading international consulting company providing consulting services to the oil & gas, energy generation, cleantech and chemical industries.
Our client has a focused and highly successful M&A advisory services business which provides commercial due diligence, asset evaluation and valuation support to buy and sell side transactions across the chemicals and energy-related space. Clients typically include PE companies, financial institutions and lead-advisory suppliers working on a transaction. This role is to lead this practice in EMEA.
You will have substantial experience of managing M&A advisory or due diligence projects in transactions across the chemicals or closely related sectors, preferably on a broad geographic basis and involving a range of clients.
You shall also have significant experience in securing new business from clients who are most likely to be PE companies or other financial institutions and be able to maintain and develop the relationship for future work.
You may have had experience across the whole M&A process to completion but this is not required. Our client delivers a critical but finite service during the process and as such you must be able to rigorously deliver a defined project to exacting deadlines, harnessing the resources available internally as required.
You will most likely have a graduate qualification in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related subject plus an MBA. Additional financial qualifications would be advantageous.
