Job Description

Our client is seeking a Market Development Manager to join the growing Fluoroproducts team based at their Wilmington DE location with responsibility for development and execution of the Energy Market Plan, to include fuel-cells and batteries. This high profile role will identify new business opportunities and create business for new applications and development projects 

This position will report directly to the Market Development Director.

In particular;

  • Develop and drive the execution of a global market strategy that encompasses current and future products with full accountability
  • Identify trends and needs that align with our clients capabilities
  • Accountable for developing an application development pipeline and delivery
  • Identify, develop and propose the market strategy for new applications and products
  • Coordinate and prioritize necessary market research to validate market sizes,  and assumptions including keyvalue chain needs, competitor strategies, and brand recognition and positioning.
  • Develop and build own relationships with fuel cell and battery value chain end users

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with sales and commercial experience. MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate market needs to technology possibilities
  • Fuel cell or battery market and technical knowledge preferred
  • Ability to think strategically, develop action plans and drive results
  • Manages ambiguity and able to conceive scenarios and develop contingencies
  • Experienced with market communications
  • Outstanding collaborator and communication skills
  • Able to influence at all levels of organizations  
  • Key behaviors include initiative, collaborative teamwork with global team, creative thinking, and passionate about business development
  • Flexibility to travel 50% primarily within the USA
