The company has a unique set of proprietary technologies, international offices and manufacturing facilities in the USA.

Job Description

The company is building commercial capabilities in the USA and is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager with experience selling new solvent technlogy to formulators of finished metal and industrial cleaning products. The role will be commercial development of the client's proprietary solvent technology and as such will involve an element of technical service and application development working with R&D colleagues to ensure robust product offerings. 

These roles could be based anywhere in the US as would be home based with extensive travel.

Job Requirements

Candidates will be strong and experienced business developers, skilled at prospecting a market, developing relationships, arranging client trials and ultimately delivering strong, profitable sales growth of new products, replacing incumbent materials.

Candidates will have experience selling solvents or related chemicals products to manufacturers of formulations used in metal cleaning, industrial plant cleaning and institutional cleaning sectors. Experience working with client's technical teams to specify new replacement products into these formulations is paramount. Any experience selling / specifying products based on green or environmental credentials would be an asset.
